March 11 2010--Banner removed again!
The banner was retrieved from the bushes near to the railings of Sainsburys on Wednesday morning and promptly resited. However, sometime Wednesday, possibly evening, the banner has once again sprouted legs, untied itself from the railings and gone walkabout. Should someone see a banner with a large orange 'TAEKWON-DO' across the front of it, please help it find its way back to the railings outside Sainsburys or hand it in to the Alton Assembly Rooms.
March 07 2010--Banner Stolen?
It seems someone in Alton loved our new Banner so much, they decided to take it.
The banner was placed on the railings just past Sainsburys Supermarket on Friday morning and survived the evening right through to Saturday morning. The banner was placed there with the permission of the Town Council in the lead up to the opening of the new class at the Assembly Rooms.
I would like to think someone made a mistake and when they realise what an error they have made, the banner will either be put back up on the railings, or handed into the Assembly Rooms in Alton.
What people forget is that banners and flyers cost money; a 7ft banner is not cheap!!!
But thankfully, there are a number of cameras in the area that may have captured those that removed the banner and I will be talking to the owners of the cameras on Monday and Tuesday to schedule a time at which I can view the tapes.
If you are, or know the person(s) that removed the Banner, I would like you to know that I just want the banner returned. The banner is brand new and I will expect it to be returned in the state in which I left it.
I will also be making this a public request via the local media unless of course the banner is returned. In the case of a theft, I am very sure that with the security tapes and witness statements from passers-by during the hours of Saturday 6th March, I will have enough evidence for a conviction.....but I am sure that this isnt the case.
I look forward to receiving the banner soon.
Mr Hollinsworth IV Degree.

February 09 2010--Cardiff Competition Results
| Congratulations to Ryan Perkins (aged 7) who received Silver Medal at the Taekwon-Do Championships held recently in Cardiff. This was Ryan's first competition and was VERY nervous during the build-up. In can be quite a schock when you realise you have to perform your patterns, sparrking and power test in front of so many people - but he got up there and he did himself proud (and Mum & Dad!). Well Done Ryan!!! | |
